M you raise the question of ownership regarding memories but want to
deny

How much originality are you able to attribute to your "own
mix"? 
And what of found/false/fluid memories?
One of my daughters animates stories she's heard in the family,
photographs she's seen, inserting herself
into events, creating memories that are actual if not factual. 
Our genetic memories via the genotype, are susceptible to change in the
phenotype, the lived experience,  and how
are these memories comparable to web personalities effects? Working in
convergence media, Avatar Body Collision 
are always dealing with diverse memory effects. During a recent
cyberformance of 'Screen Save Her' in
London, we programmed two Palace scenes so that performers were
hands-free to move 
avatars around the Palace stage while simultaneously cyberforming
different personas on webcams. If one cyberformer lost her 
connection the Palace scripting would halt: how to enact a group event
when part of group memory has been dropped? We could 
wheel out a chatterbot to fill the avatar gap, but on the webcams we
couldn't replace that 
missing body/window.  On webcams, we just rely on improvisation, our
'own mix', over-writing the original in run-time, i.e. like life, not
like theatre.
